What’s up class this is Maximus Paul Decimus Garbis, but you can just call me Max. I personally have never been a huge fan of blogs or blogging; as a matter of fact I would go far enough to say that I hate them. However things could be worse and I think I might be able to manage one blog a week. I mean it beats writing papers about books.
It would be
impossible for me to share everything about my self in about 300 words, so ill
try my best to share most of the interesting things about me. I am from Naperville
Illinois and am the youngest of nine children, seven brothers and one sister. I
went to Waubonsie Valley high school where I was quite active in the school; I
played football, wrestling and rugby all four years I was there. I found out
rugby was by far the sport I was most passionate about and it is the only sport
I continued into college. I now play here at Illinois State University. My
other favorite things in my life are the Chicago Bears, Disney world, and
Pirates of the Caribbean. My dream is to
transfer to Hawaii University next year and finish school there and hopefully
become a doctor. The reason for this would be because I consider my self a very
simple and relaxed person who just wants to enjoy life, so what better way to
do that then live in Hawaii.
I Have
always had trouble finding enjoyment when it comes to do anything with school,
however I have always liked writing as long as I could somewhat write about
what I want. Writing has always come natural to me. Writing has been an easy
thing for me to do and I think that’s why I enjoy doing it so much. So overall,
I have no problem with writing as long as I have some freedom while I am doing
it.
This English class seems much
different from all my past English classes. I am use to reading a book and
writing a paper about it. In this class however it seems to have a lot of free
writing and not that much reading involved. So I am excited to have a English class
where I do not have to read books and analyze them. This class seems to have a
lot of interesting assignments from the writing blogs to the projects we do. So
I guess I am expecting this class to be fun and not that difficult. (425)
